Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 until Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is a small community that is located on the West Island, which is part of Montreal's island. Many people unfamiliar with the word frequently think that it's a separate island somewhere in the west of Montreal but in fact this part of West Island is home to everything from the City of Lachine west. Amanda Brugel grew up on the island and is frequently called her birthplace. But she only stayed there for a short period of time. Brugel developed on Courtice just outside Oshawa located in Ontario. The first goal she had was to become an expert dancer. However, a growth spurt caused her to outgrow all of the dance partners she had.
